The history of The Green School dates back to 2006 when it was founded by John and Cynthia Hardy in Bali, Indonesia. The school in Bali made of Bamboo first opened in September 2008 with 90 students in a school that emerged between the jungle and the rice fields.
All campuses are designed following the principles and system of organic premaculture. Students grow and care for their own organic gardens as part of their learning activities.
